
Music Day | ibyte
ibyte is a leading retailer of technology products and services based in Fortaleza, Brazil, and to talk about the Music Day we decided to play with the imagination of its followers on Instagram. Using one of its own-brands - Goldentech - we made a parallel between their sound equipments and great artists in iconic poses. We invited social media users to try guessing the pop references. We applied young and relaxed language, using the meme #IconeFazAssim (This is how an Icon does), which means the way a pop icon does something really good (like the Goldentech equipments).
The campaign consisted in a carousel of four animated videos and a copy describing daily situations where music would be part of it. In each one we can see sound waves revealing the silhouette of a pop artist according to the beats of the music.
